Marine system modeller and an Auxiliary Researcher with Instituto Superior Técnico. Since 2001, Marcos has been involved in research projects relating to coastal management and marine ecosystems modelling studies. He is a MOHID system developer in the field of biogeochemical processes.





Neves, Ramiro

Associated Professor at IST and an environmental scientist. Holds a BSc degree in Mechanical Engineering and a PhD degree in Environmental Engineering and has over 20 years of experience in environmental consulting. He is a specialist in environmental impact assessment in the marine and coastal environment and has been involved in the environmental assessment in several projects, including estuarine eutrophication and other water resources management. He started developing the MOHID modeling system in the 80’s and has been working in its development and applications ever since.
